Asus Vivobook S 16 Flip OLED Revealed

Asus has released a new convertible laptop, the S 16 Flip OLED (TP3604). The latest version includes 16 GB of RAM, Intel Iris X graphics, and support for the 13th-generation Intel Core i9-13900H. The 16-inch diagonal Asus Vivobook S 16 Flip OLED’s OLED panel can show 3.2K at 120Hz. Corning Gorilla Glass NBT is also compatible with the screen. The new Asus vivobook features a 70Whr, 50Whr, or 42Whr battery with a Harman Kardon-tuned Dolby Atmos audio system.

The Vivobook S 16 Flip OLED (TP3604) price are currently unknown. There are two colour options to choose from: Cool Silver and Midnight Black.

The Asus Vivobook Screen

The metal-bodied Asus Vivobook S 16 Flip OLED has no operating system. It has a 16-inch OLED NanoEdge display, 3.2K (2,000 x 3,200 pixels) , 120Hz refresh rate, and 85.6% screen-to-body ratio. The three-sided, bezel-less display is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass NBT barrier and covers the full DCI-P3 colour space. A pen with 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity, the Asus Pen 2.0, is available for use with the display and is sold separately. The company boasts that the screen has been certified by both SGS and TUV Rheinland.

Asus Vivobook S 16 Flip OLED’s technical details

The convertible laptop has a 13th-generation Intel Core i9-13900H CPU, Intel Iris X graphics, up to 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD. The Asus Vivobook S 16 Flip OLED laptop has the company’s IceCool thermal technology, which allows faster heat dispersion. According to Asus, an IceBlade fan and heat pipes of up to 8mm and 6mm support rapid heat dissipation. The convertible laptop’s touch screen, keyboard, and 360-degree swivelling hinge enable its usage as a tablet.

The Asus Vivobook S 16 Flip OLED comes with an artificial intelligence (AI) noise cancelling Dolby Atmos audio system calibrated by Harman Kardon. If you want to, you can use a backlight to light up the chiclet keyboard. The dimensions of the touchpad are 128.9 mm in length and 82.1 mm in width. The convertible S 16 Flip OLED comes with Wi-Fi 6E, USB Type-C 3.2 Gen2, USB Type-A 3.2 Gen2, and up to Bluetooth v5.2. In addition, Asus preinstalled WiFi SmartConnect, which will automatically link your laptop to the best available wireless network.

The battery on the Vivobook S 16 Flip OLED with an OLED panel has a capacity of 70Whr, whereas the batteries on the S 16 Flip versions with IPS screens are only 50Whr or 42Whr. The military has found its service life to be adequate (MIL-STD-810H). The laptop’s exact dimensions are 1356.05 x 253.1 x 19.6mm, and it weighs 1.9 pounds.
