Maruti Suzuki Fronx : A Future SUV

At Auto Expo 2023, the Indo-Japanese carmaker Maruti Suzuki debuted the Fronx, a future SUV coupe. All authorised Nexa retailers are now taking pre-orders for the model. In April, the price will be made known. The tiny SUV’s maker says that it has everything from a “sporty design language to technology that assures your safety, comfort, and convenience.” Below is a list of the new Maruti Fronx SUV’s six most important factors.

Variants

Maruti Suzuki Fronx will release five model variations: Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta, and Alpha. The 1.2L gasoline engine and manual and AMT transmissions will be available on the Sigma, Delta, and Delta+ trims. A 1.0L Boosterjet petrol engine is available for the Delta+, Zeta, and Alpha models.

Baleno-Inspired Design

Regarding headlights, the Delta and Delta+ trims feature LED multi-reflector units, while the Sigma, Zeta, and Alpha trims get halogen projectors. It has Nexa’s distinctive linked full LED rear combo lighting and NEXTre LED daytime running lights up front. The shark fin antenna, roof garnish, substantial wheel arches, underbody cladding, and alloy wheels bolster its side aspect. There are also LED taillights, a rear wiper and washer, a skid plate, and a roof-end spoiler on the back. The Maruti Fronx is based on Suzuki’s Heartect platform, which also underlies the Baleno hatchback.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx Boosterjet Engine

The Maruti Suzuki Fronx is the first vehicle to be powered with the revised 1.0L Boosterjet turbocharged petrol engine, which produces 100PS and 148 Nm of torque. Suzuki’s mild hybrid technology has been included in the motor. It’s available with either a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission with a torque converter. In the case of the mechanical models, paddle shifters will be available. This SUV features a 1.2 liter Dualjet Dual VVT gasoline motor. It has a maximum power output of 90 PS and a maximum torque output of 113 Nm. The booster jet engine will offer a 5-speed manual and an automatic manual transmission (AMT) with the Dualjet powertrain.

Colors and Dimensions

Arctic White, Earthen Brown, Opulent Red, Grandeur Grey, and Splendid Silver are the five available singletone exterior colors for the new Maruti small SUV. Bluish Black roofs will complement the Opulent Red, Earthen Brown, and Splendid Silver colors. The vehicle had a wheelbase of 2520 mm and size of 3995 mm in length, 1765 mm in width, and 1550 mm in height. It has a trunk that can hold 308 liters of stuff and a gas tank that can hold 37.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx Interior

The new Maruti Suzuki Fronx inside has a two-tone design with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, fabric seats, and chrome door pulls. Suzuki Connect is a connected car system available on the Zeta and Alpha trim levels that provide features including emergency alerts, breakdown notifications, stolen vehicle notifications and tracking, geofences, and more.

Over-the-Air Update (OTA), voice assistant, TFT-colored multi-information display (MIF), wireless phone charger, cruise control, electrically adjustable outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs), keyless entry system, engine push start stop with smart key, height-adjustable driver seat, power windows, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, Type A & C USB charging sockets, and many other features.

Lots of Safety Features

The SUV comes standard with various safety features to protect you and your family, including a rear defogger, Isofix child seat anchors, reverse parking sensors with an infographic display, and 3-point ELR seat belts for all passengers. Only the top-tier Alpha trim includes a Head-up Display and a 360-degree camera. Protect yourself with six separate airbags in the upper trim levels. It has a back camera and an anti-theft system as standard equipment.
