Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2023 Event

Starting on February 1, Samsung will hold its first Galaxy Unpacked event of the year. The San Francisco live event will start at 11.30pm IST and will be broadcast worldwide (10am PST). At the event, Samsung is likely to unveil three new Galaxy S23 devices: the Galaxy S23, the Galaxy S23+, and the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The latest Samsung handsets are the follow-up to last year’s Galaxy S22 releases. At the event, Samsung is also likely to unveil the third generation of its Galaxy Book line.

Livestream instructions for Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked
The Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event, hosted by the South Korean electronics giant, is scheduled for 1 February, 11:30pm IST. Samsung’s website, Newsroom website, and YouTube channel will all be streaming the in-person event live. The livestream is also available via the linked video player below.
At the event, Samsung is likely to unveil the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra, all of which are new smartphones in the Galaxy S series. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Book 3 lineup from Samsung is likely to have the standard Galaxy Book 3, the 360-degree Galaxy Book 3 (called the Galaxy Book 3 360), the Pro (called the Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360), and the Ultra (called the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra). In preparation for the release of its future flagship smartphones and laptops, Samsung has begun taking pre-orders in India. For a nominal fee of Rs. 1,999, customers may reserve one of the smartphones in advance.

Cost of Samsung’s Galaxy S23 Family (expected)
In India, the baseline cost of a Galaxy S23 is predicted to be Rs. 79,999. Depending on the specific area, the 8GB RAM +128GB storage variation of the smartphone might cost EUR 959 (about Rs. 85,000) in Europe. The rumoured pricing of the Galaxy S23+ with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage in India is Rs. 89,999, while the projected price in Europe is EUR 1,209. (roughly Rs. 1,07,200). In some European areas, the premium Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra might cost EUR 1,409 (about Rs. 1,25,000), while in India, it is projected to sell for Rs. 1,14,999. Samsung has not, however, released a formal statement on the pricing.
There are rumoure to be four colour options for all three phones: Phantom Black, Cotton Flower (Cream), Botanic Green, and Misty Lilac.
Specifications for the Samsung Galaxy S23 and S23+ (expected)
It has been widely speculate that Qualcomm’s newest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC would be powering the next Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra.
One UI 5.1, which is based on Android 13, is expecte to power all three devices. Galaxy S23+ is said to have a 6.6-inch full-HD+ AMOLED 2X display, while the standard model might have a 6.1-inch screen. The screens should have HDR10+ compatibility and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
Possible specifications for the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ include a triple camera arrangement on the back, including a 50-megapixel main sensor and OIS. A 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and 10-megapixel telephoto sensor are also to be a part of the camera system. The front-facing camera is rumoure to be 12 megapixels.
Both the Samsung Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23+ are to have up to 256GB of internal storage, with the latter possibly up to 512GB. The Galaxy S23 supposedly has a 3,900mAh battery and can be charge at 25W via cable or 10W wirelessly. The Galaxy S23+ might include a 4,700mAh battery that supports 45W wired fast charging and 10W wireless charging.
